Why should I buy a Tenbol Motor Mount?
By mounting a larger 540 motor, more power, more torque, and higher speeds are achievable. More importantly, with proper gearing, cooler motor and ESC temperatures can keep your truck from overheating at 11.1 volts and beyond.

Will a Big Block Motor destroy my transmission?
No, not if the the slipper clutch is set correctly. This a common concern, but a slipper clutch limits the amount of torque the transmission receives. For optimal performance set the clutch with just enough grip to hold you motor's torque. If you are running a massive motor such as a Neu 1515/1Y, program your ESC for a cushioned start/accelerate curves. There is a limit, but we have not found it.

How does running a Tenbol Big Block Motor Mount affect Run Times?
Not as much as you think. This is because you rarely need full throttle on a car this powerful. We have run a Mamba 5700kV w/ Mamba Max and a 28T pinion, with two 11.1V 1550 mAh in parallel easily for over 30 minutes.

Will the Tenbol Big Block Motor Mount work on the XL-2.5 version?
Yes this is a great inexpensive alternative for individuals that already own a 540 Brushless system.

Does the Tenbol mount work with brushed and brushless motors?
Yes, all motors fit as long as motors are standard 540 size with M3x0.5 threads. If an extra long shaft motor is use such as the Traxxas Velineon, notching the blue transmission plate may be required if pinions smaller than 42T are used.

How do I choose a brushless system?
Brushless systems are just that, a system. It is important to match the Vehicle intended usage with the motor, ESC, Gearing, and batteries. We have provided many Speed-Recipes to get you started. All the Speed-Recipes provide a good template to work from.

Gearing: Top Speed vs. Bashing?
Top Speed set ups are good for all out speed on smooth services. While the Bash gearing will allow for longer run times and will keep the motor cooler.

How do I mount my new ESC?
This may require some creative work, but small size ESCs such as the Mamba Max easily place in the stock unit. We like to slide a piece of balsa wood in the stock slot then put double sided sticky tape on top to adhere the ESC down.

What shipping method do you use?
We use USPS First Class. It takes 3-5 business days. For all International orders we use USPS First Class. It can take up to 3-4 weeks, depending on the country. Please be patient if you order internationally, we have no control after the order has been shipped. Our shipping prices are non-negotiable.

All International orders will be declared for the true value.

We usually ship within 1-2 business days of the order.

What if I buy more than one mount?
The shipping is still $5 for US, NO MATTER HOW MANY YOU BUY! International shipping is still $13 (up to 4 parts). If you purchase 10 or more mounts, domestic shipping is free.
